It helps you replace the adhesive nozzle easily when it gets clogged, saving you lots of $$$ so you don't have to replace your half used adhesive when you dont need to! There are 5 holes for different size nozzles. Usually the biggest semi circle side works with majority of adhesives. Simply slide it at the base of the nozzle. once you get a good grip gently push the nozzle opener in an upward motion from side to side & watch the magic happen!
